Gather Round

Poem by Chef Soigne

Come gather round my little peeps,
Cluster close like wooly sheep,
Around the crust we step by step,
Get lifted up...inside we rest,
A blanket comes and oh so tight,
We're smothered gently and now it's night,
It's getting oh so hot inside,
It's almost time to rest our pie,
Crunchy chick's for Easter brunch,
I hope you didn't lose your lunch.

Chef Soigne loves to cook and write poetry about the things he admires.
